Hey, I’m McKenzie McClaran
Based out of Iowa City, Iowa, as a licensed therapist specializing in all-inclusive and affirming virtual therapy for all women and birthing people, I bring expertise in evidence-based modalities like EMDR, Internal Family Systems ( Level 1 Trained IFS), and trauma-informed somatic practices to support your healing journey. I have been in the mental health field for 5+ years working with various populations. In therapy, I lead with a compassionate approach, I create a safe space where you can connect with your mind and body, heal from trauma, and reclaim balance in your life. My personal experiences with mental health, perinatal challenges, and infertility inspire my dedication to helping women navigate these struggles and rediscover their strength.
Trauma Recovery
Trauma can leave deep emotional scars, but healing is possible. Using EMDR and Internal Family Systems (Level 1 Trained IFS), I’ll guide you through processing your pain, reconnecting with your body, and finding peace.
